Title: Smart Platform With Hydro-Informatics For Smart Water Management

Smart Water Management (SWM) will be outlined at the head of the speech, to identify the challenges and trends of the technology development. Many of SWM have been focusing on drinking water system and the efficient integration of industrial process of it, in the early stage of its implementation; such a trend of technology give rise to the expectation of common platform to help with "the horizontal integration of heterogeneous subsystems for water management", that comes with several issues to take into account in this stage:
- IoT technology is emerging, and it is widely adopted in SWM.
- Integrated water system should equipped with optimal decision supports.
- integrating heterogeneous systems is generally complex in terms of semantic compatibility.
This keynote envisions the promising technical directions to realize the platform and the solutions to address the issues considered above. IoT platforms, interoperability framework for industrial systems, semantics interworking of heterogeneous subsystems, and the adaptation of "hydro-informatics based decision support system" into SWM platform, will be examined. This keynote will end up with the future vision of "SWM platform with advanced hydro informatics empowered by AI and big data." It will mention another topic to extend this platform to address the SWM issues on faying surface between socio-economic and environmental hydro-ecosystems, as for a further research direction.
